Cousin Tajj | Houston Senior Photographer

I thought I was finally functioning at 100% after my 3-day bout of sickness. Then I sat down to think of a clever title for this post and realized that while my body may be back to normal, my brain apparently is not. Tajj is no catchy nickname or code word for senior photography. It’s the birth name of my cousin who appears in the images below and the title I landed on after 5 whole minutes of staring blankly into the computer screen. Fortunately, his name is quite interesting and coincidentally, so is he. I had planned to do the majority of the shoot inside the downtown library and thought he’d fit that scene perfectly. He did. However, I hadn’t visited this branch in over a decade and things have changed quite a bit. So my “vision” was far from what we actually had to work with (burnt orange floors? Really???). We improvised and did our own little walking tour of the blocks bordering the library and I could not be happier with what we produced.
