Hi This feels a little weird. For the first October* in five years, I won’t be visiting my trusted Houston parks and studios for fall mini sessions. I am now officially a San Antonio photographer. It’s bittersweet. I’ll certainly miss all the beautiful families that have continued to trust me to capture their family’s memories […]

You May Know Her is a recurring column about identity. It’s an opportunity to showcase inspiring women who are also mothers and learn how they manage to separate those roles. It’s an invitation into the spaces they’ve so carefully crafted to serve as both a means of self-expression and a haven for their families. Come […]

A few weeks ago, I shared a post about my journey to improving my mental health. I’m still receiving such beautiful emails from you all and I can’t thank you enough for opening up to me about something so personal. Reading some of your messages saying that you’ve since taken the leap and found therapists […]

Congratulations! I found your work through Shea’s twitter but I can’t thank you enough for your ability to write about tough things while still being so genuinely Serrano. It’s not often that a piece can make you genuinely reflect on your own mental state and goals while having a smile plastered to your face. So please keep being the goat because no matter what you’ll continue to inspire. Oh also congrats on becoming a positive Instagram meme, supremely rare.ReplyCancel

This looks so good! I’m going to try it.
I’ve been looking for a desk but all the ones I like cost several hundred dollars.
    Thanks for sharing the photos!ReplyCancel

You are my hero. Simplistic and glorious desk. If you ever want to make it more rustic, beat it with chains and hammer then white(or any color you choose) wash it then sand areas of the paint off and it’s instantly rustic and destressed.ReplyCancel

I will definitely keep this in mind. Thanks for the tip and for reading!ReplyCancel
