My Own::Thursday Night Fun

I spend so much time photographing other people’s children, concerts, bars, and items to sell on Craigslist that I sometimes forget to step back and watch my own little ones through my lens. REALLY watch them. It’s pretty fascinating. It’s as if overnight they became actual people with their own ideas of what’s fun and what smells good and even what’s right and what’s wrong (they tend to favor the latter). They can make each other laugh, encourage and comfort each other, and when the time is right, they can engage in what can only be described as the sissiest fist-fight ever. But what I really find endearing is when they emulate Daddy. They want to eat like him, stand like him, and discipline like him. Thursday night they wanted to dress like him.
